The Auld Triangle è una canzone attribuita al drammaturgo e scrittore Brendan Behan, che l’ha inclusa nella sua opera del 1954 “L’impiccato di domani”.
In realtà lo scrittore Mícheál Ó hAodha afferma che Brehan non ne ha mai rivendicato la paternità, considerando che introdusse così The Auld Triangle: “Questa canzone è stata scritta da una persona che non la sentirà mai registrata, perché non è in possesso di un grammofono. È praticamente un vagabondo”.
